A Note About Faith and Religion
I’m a lifelong Christian and an ordained Christian pastor. I’m also a church geek. I look at faith, religion, and spirituality from a Christian lens, but my spirituality is broader than the proverbial walls of Christianity. I welcome the opportunity to engage with you in constructing a ceremony that is meaningful to you and everyone involved no matter your faith or secular tradition.

*While each wedding is unique, enough is “standard” between most weddings that I can create the packages above. Other ceremonies are more varied and likely will require additional research for me and more discussion with you. For that reason, I only offer a “starting” fee for these services. Before signing a contract I will present you with my proposed fee for the ceremony.

Associated with Christianity, but predating it. A ceremony of initiation and welcome.

Do you have a moment you want to celebrate in a contemplative or prayerful way? We can create something meaningful for you.
(Wedding) Do Overs - Starting at $200
Like a vow renewal, but a little cheekier. Great for those who *had* to wear white or *had* to dress up. Let’s do you!
Alternative Memorial Services - Donation
Are you putting together a memorial service for an LGBTQIA+ person whose family refuses to hold an affirming service addressing them by their true and chosen name or by the pronouns they used? I would be honored to join you and remember your family.
(Re)Naming Services - Starting at $100
Like baptism, but more secular. Great for children, but also great for Trans people or anyone who has changed their name.
Divorce Ceremonies - Starting at $200
A beautiful moment to reflect on a marriage that ran its course, but still forms bonds of love among the family it produced.
Pet Memorial Services - Starting at $100

Please note that I serve as a pastor and preach the majority of Sunday nights. Given the size of our congregation, it’s difficult for me to be away on Sundays. Bear that in mind when inviting me to preach on a Sunday outside Central Ohio.
